Cpu opt fan not working-Thank you so much!  The only time it shows N/A is when no fan is connected (VIII Gene/Formula, IX Extreme does not have CPU_OPT) I figured it out You can't have 2 fans connected to the CPU_FAN header if you want the motherboard to detect the fan speed from the fan connected to the CPU_OPT header (One fan per CPU header)

Which header CPU_OPT or CPU_Fan Build Help Currently I have a Gigabyte Aorus X570 Elite I also have the NZXT x63 280mm cooler The cooler instructions say to connect the Pump 3 pin connector to the CPU_FFan; I'm trying to get all my fans as quiet as possible while still being able to sufficiently cool my rig I'm having trouble lowering the rpm of a stock 1mm 3pin Corsair fan connected through the CPU OPT header, does anyone know a way to do so or does it need to be a 4pin fan?
